The Manor is committed to providing high quality health, fitness, racquets & leisure facilities. The club was built in 1980, the intention then was to create a club that was not only the best in Ilkeston, but as good as any in the UK. Today the intention remains the same. The club has recently completed an extensive refurbishment project with over Ł300,000 having been spent on improving facilities. New ownership and new Management has made The Manor, once again, the place to be seen.

The Manor has 5 courts with 3 championship glass back courts that have all recently been refurbished. We have both squash and racketball teams represented in the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire leagues and have a strong social base with internal leagues play throughout the year.

If physiotherapy is required, our in-house physiotherapist is available for bookings. George has over 20 years experience in treating sport injuries.

Our club members have achieved fantastic results over the years with the help of our personal fitness programmes devised by our fully qualified, friendly staff.

Our staff motivate members to achieve their goals with out special weight reduction and exercise programmes. You can learn squash and tacketball, experience the gym and aerobic dance studio and relax in the steam room or sauna before embarking to the bar and restaurant for a well earned rest.

We specialise in helping beginners of all ages who have not done any exercise for some time. Our members enjoy the best sport and leisure facilities so that training and exercise can be fun for everyone.

Our Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) are taking the Martial Arts industry by storm. MMA means that the technique is not tied to one particular style of Martial Arts. With MMA the syllabus is constantly evolving - MMA uses techniques from various other combat styles to produce a modern, exciting all round system.
The Manor is an England Squash and Racketball Silver Charter Club and provides a safe environment for children to learn to play squash and racketball. All our coaches are qualified and CRB checked.
